START WITH THE RIGHT CONNECTION

A small adapter.
A clearer picture.

MechaOBD connects your iPhone or iPad to your vehicle’s diagnostic port. Here’s what you need before you get started.

01 / IPHONE OR IPAD

iOS / iPadOS 18 or later.

Allow Bluetooth access so MechaOBD can discover and connect to your adapter.

02 / ADAPTER

Bluetooth Low Energy.

A compatible OBD-II adapter is required and purchased separately. Wi-Fi and classic-Bluetooth-only adapters are not interchangeable with BLE adapters.

03 / VEHICLE

Compatible OBD-II data.

Coverage depends on the vehicle, adapter, and data the vehicle exposes. A diagnostic port alone does not guarantee every feature.
